Learning The Ropes Curriculum
The Curriculum is designed to allow flexibility in teaching to meet local requirements and norms, but is structured as a progressive scheme with five stages and achievement targets to be met at each stage.
Progress is tested at some stages by ringing a Quarter Peal. This is used as a definable and convenient way to assess achievement. A ringer following this Curriculum will have rung six Quarter Peals by the time they have finished Level 5 – Change Ringer.
Resources are provided for both Teachers and students in order to facilitate high standards of learning. The official Curriculum guide is available to ART members via Moodle.
